About The Conference
Scripture and spirituality have been appropriately called the two lungs that bring life to a Christian. The Word of God is meant to breathe life into us. How we engage it and allow it to transform us orients our worldview, relationships, and sense of meaning in the world.
The 2024 Teleios Conference will explore the symbiotic relationship between the Word of God and our lived experience. All too often, we read scripture without integrating God’s intentions for us as individuals and as a community. Join us as we explore a holistic reading of the text that reflects God’s presence in our lives.
We are blessed to have a wide variety of Christian traditions represented by speakers from across the Stone-Campbell heritage and beyond. Our partners and host, the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Spirituality at the Oblate School of Theology, will contribute four scripture and spirituality scholars.
