Rolan Monje
Asia-Pacific Leadership Ministry, Manila
Rolan Monje (BD, MMin, DMin) serves as an evangelist and teacher. He is professor of Hebrew and Old Testament at Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology in Colorado and Director of Asia-Pacific Leadership Academy in Manila.
Dr. Monje heads an international teaching ministry that has taken him to some 40 countries across 6 continents. He leads biblical tour groups and has also written five books on biblical exposition. Rolan has a combined 11 years of graduate-level studies and teaching of classical languages—Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and Syriac. He and his wife, Weng, make their home in Manila. They have two daughters.

Poetry makes up a large part of Scripture. This class introduces close readings that coach us to go beyond the usual modes of parallelism and read with expectation and imagination.
