Jeanie Shaw

Jeanie Shaw served in the full time ministry for forty-seven years, most of those working alongside her husband, Wyndham. For eight years she served as a vice president of HOPE worldwide, working with orphans in Eastern Europe. She has taught workshops and classes around the globe on spiritual growth, women in the church, caregiving, adoption, loss, leadership, marriage, and parenting. In the last few years she became a widow, retired, moved, and began her doctorate in spiritual formation. She loves learning, growing, teaching, and writing and has authored sixteen books. She treasures times spent with her four adult children, eight grandchildren, and her tennis ball-obsessed golden retriever.

Experiencing God: Our Senses and Interpretation

Our Restoration history hermeneutic includes a rational, scientific analysis of Scripture. How might our connection with God increase if we more fully engage our senses as we interpret Scripture? This class will explore ways our God-given senses partner with Scripture to experience God more fully.
